Abstract

Character education in schools is a real effort to shape students' physical, spiritual and physical aspects so that they become superior human beings with noble morals. This research is an effort to find out the extent of character formation in RA al-Qur'an Benteng Lubuk Suhuing. The formation of character education has an impact on the overall development of human resources (HR) and also has an impact on academic success. Character education makes children have noble character, high discipline, self-confidence, improves children's achievements and makes children have good manners in relationships both in the school environment and in society. The effectiveness of classroom management by teachers in forming the character of early childhood is an effort made so that character formation can be carried out well. The effectiveness of classroom management by teachers in character building can be done through example, instilling discipline, habituation, creating a conducive atmosphere and being integrated and internalized into all school life.
